Yoga Instructors

To be eligible for HBF registration as a Yoga Instructor, you must practice solely and exclusively in a private practice, as stated in our Regulations. You must also provide the following:

• certified copies of an Australian accredited qualification in one of the following:
  • Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teaching
  • A course that includes a minimum of 320 hours yoga teacher training/experience

If you are applying with your qualifications you must also provide certified copies of Professional Indemnity Insurance and Senior First Aid.

OR

• certified copies of current membership to one of the following Professional Associations:
  • Yoga Teachers Association of Australia (YTAA) - Level 2 or 3 Recognised Member
  • Friends in Yoga (FinY) - Level 2 or 3 Recognised Member
  • BKS Iyengar Yoga Association of Australia - Iyengar certified teacher
