When you’re training hard it’s good to know you’re not alone, so keep an eye on these ladies as they push through their own limits to participate in the HBF Activ City to Surf.

The Walker

Cassandra Cumming is the Internet Marketing Manager at HBF and is competing in the HBF Activ City to Surf for the first time.

Cassandra has three children, so she’s used to a challenge and is looking forward to this one. She will be walking the 12km course.

The Runner

Vari Wheater is the Marketing Manager at Channel 9 (Perth). Vari is a regular runner and has participated in the HBF Activ City to Surf for a number of years.

Recently Vari had knee surgery but her rehabilitation is going well and she’s aiming to run the 12km course again this year.
