Healthy Saver
HBF's Healthy Saver provides affordable cover for young couples and families, because you save on premiums by only paying for health services you feel you are likely to need, including maternity.
Covers:
- Substantial cover towards a shared room in an HBF Participating Hospital.
- 100% cover for maternity patients for a private room in an HBF Participating Hospital for the first 3 days of your stay. You may be required to contribute towards the cost of the next six days. Members who are hospitalised for reasons associated with the pregnancy other than the delivery of the baby, are fully covered for shared room accommodation fees but might be required to contribute to the cost of a private room for the first six days.
- Limited hospital benefits for psychiatric care, cosmetic surgery and assisted reproductive services (including IVF). Limited hospital benefits cover the cost of a shared room in a public hospital.
- Does not cover joint replacement, heart procedures and cataracts.
