Ambulance Plus

Ambulance Plus is an optional extra available for purchase by HBF hospital members.

At less than a dollar a week, Ambulance Plus provides cover for elective ambulance services, including cover towards pre-booked, non-urgent ambulance care.

Benefits are capped at $3000 per person per year and a $50 co-payment may apply for ambulance services where a patient is not admitted to a hospital emergency department.

We also provide urgent Ambulance Cover in all health covers.

Please note if you are an Aged Pensioner, Ambulance Plus may not be suitable for your needs due to the WA State Government provision of free ambulance services.
