Urgent Ambulance cover

Thousands of Western Australians require emergency ambulance assistance every year. What they don't realise is that even a call out to your home can cost hundreds of dollars - dollars that aren't covered by Medicare, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical or Pension Benefit Cards.

With HBF Urgent Ambulance cover, a stand alone ambulance product, a small annual premium will ensure you are covered for urgent ambulance care.

For just $41.60 per annum for singles and $83.20 per annum for families, HBF Urgent Ambulance cover provides unlimited, urgent ambulance transport. (This figure does not include the Federal Government Rebate)

Urgent Ambulance covers circumstances classified by St John Ambulance as requiring urgent attention.

A $50 co-payment applies for ambulance services where a patient is not admitted to a hospital emergency department.

HBF Urgent Ambulance cover does not cover elective ambulance services such as pre-booked, non-urgent ambulance care. To be eligible for elective ambulance benefits, Ambulance Plus can be purchased with any HBF hospital product.

Please note if you are an Aged Pensioner, Urgent Ambulance Cover may not be suitable for your needs due to the WA State Government provision of free ambulance services.
