Needlestick Cover Plus is available to individuals employed in one of over 80 approved, exposure prone occupations including doctors, nurses, ambulance drivers, police, dentists, teachers and security guards. 

The primary purpose of HBF Ezicover Needlestick Cover Plus is to provide a lump-sum benefit if you become infected with HIV, Hepatitis B or Hepatitis C as a result of an accident occurring during the course of your normal occupation and this benefit is paid in addition to any Workcover entitlements you may have. Needlestick Cover Plus provides protection not only against infections caused by needles, but also infections caused through other means like sharps accidents and blood splash back.

You can choose the level of cover that suits you with options from $50,000 to $400,000 in increments of $50,000. Affordable premiums start from as little as $7.27 per month for $50,000 cover - that's less than 25c a day.

Should you suffer an infection as a result of an accident, a lump sum payment can be used to help pay for medical costs, fund lifestyle changes such as reduced work hours or to repay debts like a mortgage.
