That’s why members with hospital cover avoid
long public hospital waiting lists and have
access to visits from our personal hospital
liaison officers when staying in hospital.
HBF members with Essentials cover
also have access to hundreds more
participating dental and optical providers
than any other health fund in WA.
Hospital Cover
HBF Hospital cover pays benefits for things like accommodation in a private hospital, theatre and specialist fees, as well as allowing you to choose your own doctor and avoid long waiting lists.
Essentials Cover
HBF Essentials cover pays benefits on up to 22 day-to-day services including dental, optical, physio, chiro, podiatry and occupational therapy.
Hospital & Essentials Cover
HBF Hospital and Essentials cover pays benefits on things like accommodation in a private hospital and theatre fees as well as day to day health services like dental, optical, physio and chiro.
Ambulance Cover
HBF offers two types of ambulance cover. Urgent Ambulance is a low cost option if you don’t want Hospital or Essentials cover but you’d like insurance for an unexpected ambulance trip, while Ambulance Plus covers pre-booked or non-urgent ambulance transport.
Overseas Visitors Cover
Our Overseas Visitors health insurance cover can help you take care of your health while you're in Australia. It covers you for most hospital treatment, doctors' visits and urgent ambulance.
