When you transfer from another fund

We will cover you for the same amount of cover you had with your previous health fund, as long as you have:

1. already served the relevant waiting periods and
2. have transferred within two months of your financial date with your previous fund.

To make sure you get the same level of cover, you just need to:

• provide us with a clearance certificate from your previous health fund and
• make sure you pay your new HBF policy from the financial date shown on the clearance certificate

Plus, you'll enjoy:

• access to more participating dental providers, optical stores and more branches than any other health fund in WA,
• A maximum of 12 months length of membership, which means you may be entitled to the same benefits as a member who has been with us for a year, depending on how long you have been with your previous health fund

And you may not have any waiting periods.
