When you insure your trip with our Domestic Cover travel insurance, you’ll receive these benefits:

  • Cover for missed connections
  • Cover for lost or damaged luggage and personal belongings
  • Cover for flight cancellation and travel delay
  • No excess for journeys up to 31 days
  • The option to avoid an excess by paying an additional premium for journeys between 32 and 70 days

Our Domestic Cover option doesn’t apply to trips you make to Christmas Island, Cocos Island and cruises operating out of Australian ports so if you’re heading to one of these destinations, please check our range of travel insurance options to find the cover that’s right for you.

Note: An excess of $100 applies to sections A, B1, B2, B3, B4 and C of Gold, Super and Budget policies. An excess buy-out option is available if your trip is less than 90 days.

Ask us about the daily rates which may apply to your holiday. The travel plan you choose must be based on the destination where you’ll spend most of your journey, which includes cruises. If your policy doesn’t reflect this, it may become invalid.
