Additional Luggage and Surfboard Cover

For an additional premium, you are able to insure individual items of luggage and/ or surfboards.

Surfboard Cover only applies to the theft of the surfboard, not the loss or damage of the board

Excess

If your duration of travel is 90 days or less you can buyout your excess by paying an additional premium of $25* (includes GST plus stamp duty applicable in your state of residence).

Why can't over 70's insure online?

Travel insurance is a complex product. As there are a number of cover limitations for people over 70 years of age, we believe we can better service your needs by discussing your specific requirements. Please call us on 133 423 or visit your nearest HBF branch.

Pre - Existing Medical Conditions

We offer cover for 26 pre-existing medical conditions provided that:

• They are well controlled
• There have been no flare ups or medical intervention in the last 90 days
• A medical review is not planned before you leave
• Conditions are not related to any other pre-existing conditions.

We are happy to extend your cover, however you must do this before your original policy ends.
