Workplace giving
Giving back to the community is something we value here at HBF. Our employee programs include:
- Workplace Giving Program: in the past ten years, our employees, suppliers and members have raised more than $1.7m for charities. Each year our employees donate approximately $50,000 to local charities through a payroll deduction scheme and fundraising activities.
- Community Health Program: this program supports initiatives that improve the health and wellbeing of the WA community, such as the HBF Run for a Reason and the HBF Freeway Bike Hike for Asthma. We encourage our employees to support these important events.
- Community Spirit Program: this program encourages our employees to volunteer in the community. Participants can enjoy two days paid leave per year for volunteering activities.
