Urgent Ambulance

From $1.30^ per week

If you don’t need Hospital or Essentials cover, Urgent Ambulance covers you and your family for urgent ambulance trips.

As an HBF Urgent Ambulance member you are covered for unlimited urgent ambulance transport.

If you’re looking for:

  • Peace of mind, if something isn’t right, you want to be able to call an ambulance without worrying about how much it will cost.
  • There is only a seven-day waiting period.

Good for:

  • You don’t want Hospital or Essentials cover, just a safety net of unlimited ambulance cover for any situation that St John Ambulance considers urgent.

Please note:

  • If you’re an Aged Pensioner you may not need Urgent Ambulance cover due to the WA State Government’s provision of free ambulance services. Contact the Department of Health for more information.

^A single Urgent Ambulance policy costs $67.30pa based on WA rates, which is the equivalent of $1.30 a week when paid annually by direct debit after deducting the Federal Government 30% Rebate on private health insurance.
