Western Australia’s leading health fund HBF has signed on as Official Health Provider to the Fremantle Dockers.
HBF managing director Rob Bransby said the health fund had agreed to a three year sponsorship deal through to the end of 2013.
“As a passionately West Australian member-based organisation we feel we have a lot in common with the Fremantle Dockers,” he said.
“We are serious about promoting physical activity and you can’t get better role models for that than WA’s top footballers.”
Fremantle chief executive officer Steve Rosich said that HBF has a strong and proud history of helping West Australians for more than 70 years.
“As a founding sponsor of the Fremantle Dockers, we are delighted that HBF has agreed to be our Official Health Provider,” he said.
“HBF has a strong focus on helping the community and, in particular, helping to improve the health and wellbeing of West Australians. We see great fit with HBF’s community focus and look forward to working in partnership for the betterment of Western Australia.
“On behalf of our club, I would like to thank Rob Bransby and his management team for their faith in the club and we look forward to a long and mutually rewarding partnership.”
