If you’re aged 18 years or older, you can get a Health Check at Friendlies. Click here to read the full terms and conditions.

It’s $40 for a Health Check at Friendlies which includes your tests and a comprehensive report. Eligible HBF members can get a fully covered Health Check once a year, depending on their annual maximum. Find out more.

Your pharmacist will ask some questions about your lifestyle, diet and exercise habits as well as measure your blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose levels, height, weight and waist circumference. We do all this to assess your risk of developing health problems such as cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes. You’ll receive a report on your results along with exercise, diet and lifestyle recommendations. At Friendlies, health checks are private consultations and take about 20 minutes.

You don’t need to fast before your appointment because the Health Check is only a screening tool. However, if you want to get more accurate readings for your blood glucose and cholesterol, fasting for two hours before your appointment will help.
