Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA) is a common medical condition. It doesn’t just deprive you of a good night’s sleep, it can have a real impact on your long-term health.     Pharmacy 777 offer two types of sleep studies which you can do in the comfort and privacy of your own home.

    If recommended, Pharmacy 777 have a range of CPAP machines available to trial and purchase. Eligible HBF members may receive benefits payable on the cost of the machine.1

  • Ongoing Pharmacist support

    If required, you have the ongoing support of your local 777 Pharmacist including treatment options.

How to get started

The Pharmacy 777 home sleep study will investigate if you have OSA. It's conducted in the comfort and privacy of your own home.

  1. Make a booking

    Book a private consultation with your local Pharmacy 777 pharmacist.

  2. Come in for a chat

    Come in for a 15-minute private consultation to discuss your risk of OSA. During this consult the Pharmacist will ask some questions to help get a sense of your risk of OSA and will discuss the options for a home sleep study, if appropriate.

  3. Book your home sleep study

    If a home sleep study is appropriate your Pharmacist will book you in for a home study set-up appointment. During this consult your Pharmacist will get you ready for your sleep study, which you will complete that night and return the device the next day.

OSA is diagnosed with a sleep study. Pharmacy 777 offers two types of home sleep studies, please book your initial consultation with your 777 Pharmacist to discuss if a home sleep study is right for you.

What are the symptoms of Obstructive Sleep Apnoea?

Some of the associated symptoms include daytime sleepiness, fatigue and tiredness, poor concentration, irritability and mood changes. If you are experiencing some of these symptoms you may want to chat with your Pharmacist to learn more about the Sleep Apnoea service.

What causes Obstructive Sleep Apnoea?

Obesity is one of the most common risk factors for OSA. There are other contributing factors which include increased age, alcohol and sedative use, nasal congestion and obstruction, facial bone shape, and large tonsils.

How much does it cost?

After your free initial consultation, the Pharmacist will be able to advise on the cost of the home sleep study required (if appropriate).

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible for a home sleep study at Pharmacy 777, you must be aged 18 years or over.

Depending on the type of sleep study there may be additional eligibility criteria. Your local Pharmacist will be able to help you with more information.
