HBF Run for a Reason will take over Perth on Sunday 24 May. To ensure the safety of participants, volunteers and spectators, a number of roads will be temporarily closed throughout the day.
A comprehensive list of road closures is provided below. You can also explore closures in more detail using the interactive map, including specific closure times. Use the menu on the left-hand side to view closures by time of day, then click on any road to see street-specific information.

Road Closures
William Street will be closed from 11pm on Saturday 23 May. Additional road closures across the CBD and along the three event routes will commence from 4am on event day.
Parking restrictions will be in place along the course, and towing may be enforced in designated areas. All roads within the CBD and along the three routes are expected to reopen by 1pm on Sunday 24 May.
Sections of St Georges Terrace / Adelaide Terrace (westbound), Riverside Drive, and Wellington Street will remain open to traffic on event day, with detours in place. The quickest route out of the CBD will be via Wellington Street (northbound).
Motorists travelling south on the freeway will need to detour via Graham Farmer Freeway (eastbound) to Great Eastern Highway. If continuing south, travel via Canning Highway and rejoin the Kwinana Freeway at Canning Bridge.

There will be some noise associated with the construction of the start line and installation of event infrastructure, commencing from 11pm on Saturday 23 May on William Street and at the corners of Murray Street and Hay Street.
All event approvals are in place with the City of Perth, WA Police, and Main Roads WA.

Tow away zones list
To ensure the safety of participants, tow away zones will be located on both the HBF Run for a Reason courses and on the bus transfer route. Any vehicles parked in the tow away zones during the advertised times will be moved to a secure Mains Roads WA facility.
The zones will be distinguished with NO PARKING signs during the designated closure times.
