Throw together these scrumptious pizza scrolls for an easy, warming treat. Sports dietitian Julie Meek shows us how.

This recipe is a lighter twist on a bakery favourite, using a simple dough made from flour and yoghurt.

Best of all, you can whip them up in less than half an hour – perfect for when you want a comforting treat.

Ingredients

(Makes about 9 scrolls)

  • 4 cups self-raising flour
  • 1 cup natural yogurt
  • ½ cup tomato pasta sauce
  • ½ cup grated cheese

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan-forced).
  2. Put the self-raising flour and natural yoghurt in a bowl. Mix to form a dough, then let it rest for 5 minutes.
  3. Roll the dough into a flat rectangle, 1-2mm thick.
  4. Spread the pasta sauce thinly onto the dough, then sprinkle with the grated cheese.
  5. Roll the dough lengthways, then cut it into 2cm pieces.
  6. Place the slices on a baking tray and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
