Urgent Ambulance Cover

If you need an ambulance urgently, you don’t want to worry about a big bill to follow it.

Urgent Ambulance Cover is a low cost health insurance option for you if you don’t want Hospital Cover or Essentials cover – but you’d like health insurance cover for an unexpected ambulance trip.  Our Urgent Ambulance cover provides you with a safety net of unlimited ambulance cover for any situation that St John Ambulance classifies as urgent. 

Non-Urgent Ambulance Cover

If you think you may ever need non-urgent transport, the best option is Ambulance Plus.  

All of our health insurance covers urgent ambulance services, but Ambulance Plus provides a health insurance cover option which can be added to your Hospital Cover or Twin Pack health insurance cover.

• Urgent Ambulance cover has a seven day waiting period.
• Ambulance Plus has a 30 day waiting period.
• Ambulance Plus benefits are capped at $3000 per person per year.
• If you’re an Aged Pensioner, the WA State Government provides free emergency or medically necessary ambulance services.
