Support when members needed us most

  • Fully covered flu vaccinations

    More than 55,000 fully covered flu vaccinations, thanks to our alliance with Pharmacy 777

  • $3.1m in hardship support

    $3.1m in assistance to members experiencing financial hardship
    (as at 30 October 2020)

  • Teddy bears, flowers and gift cards

    Delivered 1,425 teddies and flowers to members who gave birth during the COVID-19 pandemic, and gave 7,550 long‑standing members gift cards to acknowledge their loyalty

  • Conversations with members

    More than one million conversations with members, offering personalised support and advice through our call centre and branches

Playing our part in the community

  • More than $1m

    shared between nearly 200 charities, including Anglicare, Royal Flying Doctor Service, Red Cross, Foodbank, The Salvation Army, Silver Chain and On My Feet

  • $2.5m

    to the Government’s COVID-19 DETECT Snapshot Program to identify asymptomatic COVID-19 cases in our community

  • $45,000

    shared between 10 charities, thanks to workplace giving donations from the pockets of HBF employees

  • $300,000

    for a three-year Community Partnership with UWA and Young Lives Matter – supporting a study on pharmacogenomics-guided therapy for patients with mental illness

  • 200

    presents donated due to the generosity of HBF employees to the Wanslea Christmas Gift Appeal, for children in foster care
