A step-by-step guide

Follow these steps to access a copy of your Policy Certificate online. This document summarises your level of cover, who’s covered, payment details and any additional information that applies to your policy.

How to access a document on myHBF

Step 1: Login to myHBF

Visit hbf.com.au and select the ‘Login’ link from the top right-hand side.

Step 2: Select My Details

From the dashboard, go to the ‘My details’ drop-down menu.

Step 3: Select Request a Document

Select ‘Request a document’ link and choose ‘Policy Certificate’ from the document type question.

Step 4: Confirm your request

Select ‘Create policy certificate’ to confirm your request. 

Your document will be downloaded through your browser. Alternatively, you can select ‘My inbox’ in myHBF to access your recent downloads or health insurance documents.

How to access a document on the HBF App

Step 1: Open the HBF App

Log in using your member number and password you created for your myHBF account. Alternatively, use your 4-digit PIN or fingerprint ID.

Step 2: Tap Profile

Tap on Profile at the bottom.

Step 3: Tap View Documents

All documents from the last 3 years are available on the app. If you need a specific document, it’s recommended to use your myHBF account.
