If you have eligible hospital cover, HBF will fully cover the costs of chemo@home treatment and you won't need to pay any excess (as this is provided as a hospital substitute treatment). However, you may need to pay some out-of-pockets for pharmacy items.

The chemo@home team is made up of highly trained and skilled nurses who can safely provide many chemotherapies, targeted therapies and immune therapies in the comfort of your own home.

Chemo@home can provide infusions for chronic conditions such as multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis or Crohn's disease. Iron infusions and other supportive medications can also be administered.
