myHBF is an easy way to manage your cover and claims online. To register for myHBF, you'll need to simply complete the online registration form, providing the following details:

  • HBF member number
  • Name
  • Date of birth
  • Email address

Once you've completed the online registration form, you'll receive an email asking you to confirm your registration. Once this step is complete, you'll be able to login by accessing myHBF.

You will need to contact us to add or remove partners and dependants on your policy. To make a change, please call us on 133 423 or visit a branch.

Depending on the changes you make, there may be an adjustment to your membership and premium. We'll also let you know if your partner or dependants need to serve waiting periods before they can claim benefits.

Yes, you can download a copy of your claims history statement by logging into myHBF or by calling us on 133 423.

When you log into myHBF you can download your claims history statement using the following steps:

  • Navigate to the drop-down arrow next to your name in the top right-hand corner
  • Select ‘Request a document’
  • Select ‘Claims history’ in the document type section
  • Select the member name and the relevant date range
  • Select ‘Create document’

After you have requested or downloaded a claims history statement via myHBF, you can also access it at your convenience through the HBF App:

  • Select ‘Profile’ from the nav bar at the bottom of the screen
  • Select ‘View documents’ for all claims-related documents
Yes, suspensions can apply to all members listed on a policy or for a person(s) under a partial suspension. The suspension applies based on the level of cover held as at the effective date of the suspension and premiums must continue to be paid for those members who remain active on the policy. Where a remaining active member(s) are under 18 years of age an authorised adult must be nominated on the membership.
