Counselling will be added to Extras covers that include Psychology.

Acupuncture, Hypnotherapy and Traditional Chinese Medicine will be added to additional Extras products to help make Natural Therapies coverage more consistent across our range.

Yes. Benefits are only payable for services provided by an HBF recognised provider. HBF only recognises providers who are accredited and registered through the Australian Regional Health Group (ARHG) database. Not all practitioners will meet these requirements. You should check directly with your practitioner if you're unsure whether they're recognised by HBF.
No, your existing benefit amounts and annual limits aren’t changing. We’re simply expanding the range of services that you can claim for under your product.
