Meet the executives

Lachlan is a medical practitioner with more than 30 years’ experience in the health industry. He joined HBF as CEO in February 2023 and prior to taking on a variety of executive leadership roles, he was a general practitioner for more than a decade.

Sarah was appointed HBF’s Chief Financial Officer in May 2024. Sarah has more than 20 years of experience in banking and general insurance sectors across Australia, UK and Argentina.

Amy was appointed to the HBF executive team in April 2020. Amy has held strategic human resource roles at multinational organisations across energy, resources, banking and FMCG.

Jarod joined HBF in October 2020 and has more than 25 years of experience in financial services, leading strategy, commercial, distribution and transformation teams at Bankwest, Boston Consulting Group, HSBC UK, and ANZ Bank.

Sanjeev was appointed as HBF’s Chief Information Officer in February 2022. He has more than 25 years’ experience leading large and diverse teams and has delivered several significant and complex digital transformation programs.

Daniel joined HBF following executive roles with private medical services organisations. He is also a Non Executive Director of the WA Country Health Service.

Natalie was appointed as HBF’s Chief Risk Officer in December 2025. She brings more than 25 years of experience in banking and financial services, with a strong track record in risk, compliance, and cultural transformation.

Jan joined the HBF executive team in August 2024. She has a range of senior executive experience across health insurance and in health services. Jan is also a Non Executive Director of GenU, one of the largest providers of disability services in Australia.
