No, you don't need to be married to get couples cover. With HBF, a couples policy can be made up of two adult members who are living together as partners.

Note: If you or your partner are temporarily living apart due to work, study or family commitments, or to receive health-related treatment, you can still hold a couples policy together, as long as your marital or de facto relationship is continuing.
