At HBF, a dependant is a person who is aged under 31 and who is not married or living in a de-facto relationship. Dependants aged under 21 (or aged under 31 if studying full-time) can be covered by a family or single parent policy for no extra cost. Dependants aged between 21 and 31 who are not studying full-time can be covered by a family or single parent policy for an additional cost.
