Mental health

To be eligible for the fully covered* program you must:

  • Be aged between 18 and 64 years
  • Have a diagnosed mental health condition
  • Have paid up to date eligible* Gold, Overseas or Prime Package Silver Plus hospital covers and have served the 2-month waiting period for hospital and psychiatric services
  • Have experienced one or more overnight admissions to a private hospital for mental health treatment in the past 12 months
