Homemade trail mix recipe

This tasty mix of fruits, nuts and seeds is the perfect afternoon pick-me-up.
Make a batch for the week ahead and divide it up for easy daily snacks.
Serves: 6 (one serve = half a cup)
Prep time: 5 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 cup dried apricots
- ½ cup pumpkin seeds
- ½ cup almonds
- ½ cup raisins or sultanas
- ½ cup pretzels
- Other nuts, seeds or dried fruits of your choice – get creative!
Tip: You can leave out the nuts if needed and substitute with sunflower seeds, or simply add more of the other ingredients.
Method
- Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.
- To serve, divide into half cup portions and place in lunch box or a container.
