Healthy pizza scrolls recipe
This recipe is a lighter twist on a bakery favourite, using a simple dough made from flour and yoghurt.
Best of all, you can whip them up in less than half an hour – perfect for when you want a comforting treat.
Ingredients
(Makes about 9 scrolls)
- 4 cups self-raising flour
- 1 cup natural yogurt
- ½ cup tomato pasta sauce
- ½ cup grated cheese
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan-forced).
- Put the self-raising flour and natural yoghurt in a bowl. Mix to form a dough, then let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Roll the dough into a flat rectangle, 1-2mm thick.
- Spread the pasta sauce thinly onto the dough, then sprinkle with the grated cheese.
- Roll the dough lengthways, then cut it into 2cm pieces.
- Place the slices on a baking tray and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
