Hospital cover

HBF Basic Hospital Accident Only cover is HBF’s lowest‑cost hospital cover, designed mainly for unexpected accidents. It provides private hospital cover for treatment related to an accident*, including a private room* where available, from the day after you join, for a limited period following the accident. It includes restricted benefits for Rehabilitation, Hospital psychiatric services and Palliative care, but excludes most other medical treatments and conditions. It also covers unlimited urgent road ambulance services*.

HBF provides health insurance products in Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria, Tasmania, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Queensland and Northern Territory.
