We want you to be absolutely sure that your new health cover is the right fit for you. That's why we give all new members a 30-day 'cooling-off' period, commencing on the start date of your new policy. This means you can cancel within the 30 days and receive a refund on the premiums you've paid, as long as you haven't made a claim.

If you're an existing HBF member and you've changed your level of cover, the 30-day cooling-off period also applies from the date your new level of cover starts. You can return to your previous level of cover and receive a credit for the extra premiums you've paid, as long as you haven't made a claim on your new level of cover.

If you're thinking about cancelling your cover, please contact us.
